Pumped Sewer Main – Devon

Gmac Utilities Ltd were trusted by Kier to drill one complex shot for four ducts under sensitive marsh for a new pumped sewer main.

Gmac utilised a gyro guided steering system with the pilot to maintain accuracy within millimetres.

An additional challenge was the difference in elevations of the launch and reception pits.
